Waldorf Towers South Beach

The Waldorf Towers South Beach is defined by a vertical tower rising from its facade, a feature designed to resemble a ship’s crow’s nest rather than a traditional sign. Built in nineteen thirty-seven, the hotel is a product of the Art Deco movement that shaped this stretch of Ocean Drive. Architect Albert Anis designed the property with continuous, wrapping moldings known as eyebrows and glass brick details that sit directly beneath the central tower.
