The Marlin Hotel, located at twelve hundred Collins Avenue, is defined by its three-story curvilinear façade and the projecting horizontal window ledges known as eyebrows. Designed by architect L. Murray Dixon and built in nineteen thirty-nine, the structure stands as a representative example of the Streamline Moderne style within the Miami Beach Art Deco Historic District.
