The Georgian Terrace Hotel occupies the corner of Peachtree Street and Ponce de Leon Avenue with a butter-colored brick facade designed in the Beaux-Arts style. When it opened in October nineteen eleven, it functioned as a luxury anchor for the city's northern expansion, featuring turreted corners and decorative terra cotta. Architect William Lee Stoddart designed the structure to evoke the spirit of a Parisian grand hotel, intentionally positioning it to address both major traffic arteries with rounded elements that link its two primary facades.
