The College Football Hall of Fame is recognizable by the football-shaped rotunda that forms its entrance, a feature often compared to a football standing on its end or a vintage leather helmet. This ninety-four thousand square foot building opened in August twenty fourteen near Centennial Olympic Park to house a shrine that was originally established by the National Football Foundation in nineteen fifty-one.
