World of Coca-Cola

The World of Coca-Cola is a modern facility at Pemberton Place, a twenty-acre complex in downtown Atlanta named after John Pemberton, the pharmacist who created the drink in eighteen eighty-six. The museum sits adjacent to the Georgia Aquarium and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. Opened on May twenty-fourth, two thousand seven, this building replaced an earlier exhibit that had operated at Underground Atlanta for seventeen years.
