National Center for Civil and Human Rights

The National Center for Civil and Human Rights is defined by two curved facades that rise above the street like large, interlocking arms. These walls wrap around a central core, a design intended to evoke the sense of people coming together in unity. Opened in twenty fourteen, the museum occupies a site donated by the Coca-Cola Company at Pemberton Place in downtown Atlanta.
