The massive, round silhouette of the SkyView Ferris wheel rises two hundred feet above the downtown streets, easily spotted against the city skyline. Opened on July sixteen, two thousand thirteen, this observation wheel features forty-two climate-controlled gondolas that rotate nearly twenty stories above the ground. It holds the distinction of being the largest portable Ferris wheel in the United States.
