Millennium Station

Millennium Station sits deep underground, tucked beneath the expanse of Millennium Park. Its most prominent visual characteristic is the cavernous, subterranean layout that once earned it a reputation as a dark and dingy space, later transformed by extensive engineering and design work to integrate the facility with the park above. The station acts as the northern terminus for the Metra Electric District and the western endpoint for the South Shore Line, which connects Chicago to northern Indiana.
