The building at twenty-eight Greene Street is marked by a grey-painted, cast-iron facade and a complex mansard roof shingled in multi-colored slate. Completed in eighteen seventy-three, it is often called the Queen of Greene Street. Its exterior features projecting central bays and Corinthian columns that rise the height of the structure, topped by ornate dormers and finials.
