This building on the corner of Eighteenth and Walnut streets rises as a Beaux-Arts mansion, distinguished by the Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass dome tucked within its upper reaches. Built in eighteen ninety-eight, it began as the private residence of Sarah Drexel Fell and her husband, Alexander Van Rensselaer. The interior was once known for the Doges Room, a space featuring a vaulted ceiling covered in framed oval portraits.
