The Clothespin is a forty-five-foot-tall Cor-Ten steel sculpture located at Centre Square Plaza, at the intersection of Fifteenth and Market Streets. It is easily recognized by its massive scale and its silhouette, which mirrors an everyday household clothespin. Commissioned by developer Jack Wolgin for the city’s Bicentennial celebration, the sculpture was installed on June twenty-fifth, nineteen seventy-six.
