One hundred nineteen Redfern Street is a Victorian Italianate building from the eighteen eighties that once served as the Redfern Post Office. You can recognize the structure by its polychromatic brickwork and sandstone base, which have been preserved from its original construction under the office of Colonial Architect James Barnet.
