Convocation Hall

Convocation Hall is defined by its shallow copper-clad dome and a radial, circular design that anchors the University of Toronto campus. Completed in nineteen oh seven and designed by the architectural firm Darling and Pearson, the hall features exterior two-story columns and buff brick walls. It was built following an effort by the university’s alumni association, which raised fifty thousand dollars that the Ontario government matched to create a central, ceremonial auditorium.
