Osgoode Hall

Osgoode Hall is distinguished by a high, ornate wrought-iron fence that rings its six-acre property, featuring narrow, revolving entrance gates often called kissing gates. Completed in eighteen sixty-seven, this barrier encloses a Palladian-style building that has served as the headquarters for the Law Society of Ontario since eighteen thirty-two. The site sits in the heart of downtown Toronto, a green space standing in sharp contrast to the surrounding dense city streets.
