The Reading Building, located at one hundred sixteen Spadina Avenue, is a seven-storey structure identifiable by its red-brick exterior and its prominent position on the northwest corner of Spadina Avenue and Camden Street. Constructed in nineteen twenty-five, the building was designed by architect Benjamin Brown to serve as a warehouse loft for Toronto's growing garment trade during the nineteen twenties.
