Queen’s Quay Terminal

The Queen’s Quay Terminal rises along the waterfront as a massive, eight-storey structure characterized by its solid Art Deco façade and vertical rows of metal-sash windows. Built in nineteen twenty-six and opened in nineteen twenty-seven, the building began its life as the Toronto Terminal Warehouse. It was designed by the New York firm Moores and Dunford to handle the immense influx of goods arriving in Ontario by Great Lakes steamships and rail lines.
