The Allen Lambert Galleria is a six-story pedestrian walkway defined by a high, vaulted canopy of steel and glass. Its structural frame consists of eight pairs of white steel supports on each side that branch upward into parabolic shapes, often compared to the canopy of a forest or the nave of a cathedral. Designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and opened in nineteen ninety-two, the space serves as a central thoroughfare for Brookfield Place in downtown Toronto.
