The Kondiaronk Belvedere is a large, semi-circular stone terrace that acts as the primary viewing platform on the southern slope of Mount Royal. It was built in nineteen oh six to serve as the centerpiece of a panoramic vista envisioned by the park’s landscape architect, Frederick Law Olmsted. The plaza remains a prominent vantage point, offering an unobstructed view across the downtown skyline toward the Saint Lawrence River.
