The Théâtre de Quat'Sous sits on Avenue des Pins, housed in a structure defined by its modern facade of silkscreened glass, black brick, and perforated aluminum. Founded in nineteen fifty-five by Paul Buissonneau, the company originally transformed a former synagogue at this location into an intimate performance space. It stands as the third-oldest theatre company in Montreal, following the Théâtre du Rideau Vert and the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde.
