Parque Fernández Madrid is a leafy square in the San Diego neighborhood of Cartagena, defined by the tall marble statue of José Fernández Madrid standing at its center. The park rests directly beside the Church of Santo Toribio, which was completed in the seventeenth century and remains the final church built within the city’s historic walls.
