Plaza de la Aduana

Plaza de la Aduana is the largest and oldest square in the walled city of Cartagena. You can pick it out by the marble statue of Christopher Columbus standing in its center and the tall, colonial-era buildings with wooden balconies that line the perimeter. One of these, the former Royal Customs House, has been restored to serve as the city’s municipal hall.
