La Presentación Casa Museo

La Presentación Casa Museo is a colonial-era building on the Calle del Estanco del Aguardiente, identifiable by its elegant entrance and a central courtyard featuring a traditional well and a garden. Long before it became a cultural space, the site functioned as a colonial distillery for aguardiente, the local sugarcane spirit that gave the street its name. By the twentieth century, it had been repurposed by the Dominican Sisters, who operated a prestigious school for girls within these walls for over one hundred and twenty years.
