Loppen

Loppen is a music venue housed in a rustic, former army building inside the autonomous community of Freetown Christiania. You can pick it out by its raw, unpolished interior, where exposed wooden beams, graffitied walls, and a history of independent programming define the space. It opened in nineteen seventy-three, only two years after the founding of Christiania, and has operated since then as a collective organization without a single person in charge.
