The Crystal, or Krystallen, is a geometric, glass-clad office building that appears to float above its plaza. Designed by Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects and completed in two thousand ten, the six-story structure rests on only a single point and a single line. This unusual support system allows for an open passage beneath the building, offering views toward the harbor and the nearby Nykredit headquarters, known as the Glass Cube.
