The Protestant Church of Saint-Pierre-le-Jeune is identifiable by its Romanesque bell tower base, a fragment of a structure consecrated in ten fifty-three by Pope Leo the Ninth. The primary Gothic building dates to the fourteenth century and houses an interior covered in restored medieval wall paintings. For centuries, this church functioned under a shared arrangement known as the simultaneum, where both Catholic and Protestant congregations held services within the same walls.
