Théâtre Rutebeuf

cultural

The Théâtre Rutebeuf is identifiable by the bust of the thirteenth-century trouvère poet Rutebeuf that occupies its lobby. The building was originally commissioned by the local municipality in nineteen oh nine to function as a public hall, housing a library, a music conservatory, and various meeting rooms. Designed by architects Pierre and Louis Guidetti, the initial construction was interrupted by the First World War.
