The Square des Épinettes features a central bandstand that anchors this garden within the residential density of the seventeenth arrondissement. Jean-Camille Formigé designed the space in eighteen ninety-three, naming it for the épinette blanche, a white grape variety once cultivated on this hill. It covers over ten thousand square meters and maintains a green landscape framed by surrounding apartment blocks.
