Le banc géant

The Le banc géant, or Giant Bench, rises one point eight meters high and stretches five meters across. Designed by artist Lilian Bourgeat, this public seat is an exact two-point-five times enlargement of a standard park bench. It sits near the Takis basin in the La Défense district, where it was first installed in July two thousand eighteen as part of an art exhibition called Les Extatiques.
