Square des Brunettes

park garden

The Square des Brunettes takes its name from a parcel of land that existed long before the modern streets of Courbevoie were laid out. In the eighteenth century, this area was part of a village surrounded by fields and vineyards, and the name reflects a time when the land was identified by its crops or owners. While it once served as a quiet park for the neighborhood, featuring playgrounds and a variety of trees like cedars and Japanese cherries, its appearance is currently defined by large construction barriers.
