Parc du Vieux cimetière

park garden

The Parc du Vieux Cimetière in Courbevoie, established in seventeen eighty-three, is defined by the presence of original funerary monuments set within a landscaped arboretum. While it no longer accepts new burials, the grounds function as a site of historical memory and a protected refuge for birds, recognized by the Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux. The site features a collection of rare tree species, including a weeping sequoia and a Tashkent chitalpa, which are identified throughout the park by markers.
