The Parc des Berges de Seine in Courbevoie is defined by a seven-hundred-meter-long sports and leisure trail that runs directly along the riverbank, framed by an orderly row of white poplar trees. This green space, developed between twenty twelve and twenty thirteen, occupies land that once served as an active industrial port. Before the mid-twentieth century, this specific stretch of the Seine was a hub for shipping construction materials, which arrived to supply local businesses before the industrial activity ceased following the Second World War.
