La gare - Trompe l'œil

This wall is part of a large collection of trompe l'œil murals that appear throughout Levallois-Perret. While the city is densely built, these paintings were commissioned to transform blank, exposed building gables into illusions of depth. Local residents have noted the shift from looking at gray, weathered concrete to seeing these scenes, which often depict architectural features or local life.
