La Main Jaune occupies a vast underground space beneath the square of the Amérique-Latine and the square of the Caporal-Peugeot near the Porte-de-Champerret. Originally built as a parking garage, this site became the first roller disco in France when it opened in nineteen seventy-nine. It spans roughly fifteen hundred square meters and sits adjacent to a bowling alley that has operated on the site since nineteen seventy-eight.
