The Musée Jean-Jacques Henner occupies an eighteen seventy-eight private mansion on Avenue de Villiers, distinguishable by its elegant, quiet facade that keeps it hidden among the surrounding buildings. While it now houses thousands of works by the Alsatian painter Jean-Jacques Henner, he never actually lived in this house. The building was originally the home and studio of his contemporary, the society painter Guillaume Dubufe.
