Monument aux morts de Pantin

The Monument aux morts in the municipal cemetery of Pantin is marked by a carved limestone figure of a woman, rendered with a serene expression, holding a book that contains the names of the fallen. Below her, a bas-relief depicts a mother, a child, and farmers tending to their fields. This sculpture was created by the artist Georges Verez and inaugurated on the first of November, nineteen twenty-two.
