Gare de Bercy ceinture

The Gare de Bercy-Ceinture stands at number three hundred twenty bis, rue de Charenton, easily identified by the structure that serves as a belvedere over the railway tracks below. This building, which now houses a martial arts club, once functioned as a critical link in the city's transport network. Opened in October eighteen seventy-five by the Paris to Lyon and the Mediterranean railway company, the station provided a direct transfer point for passengers moving between the main line and the Petite Ceinture, the circular railway that once looped around the capital.
