Parc de Choisy

Parc de Choisy is a rectangular green space defined by its classical geometry, where straight, tree-lined paths intersect in a layout forming a Latin cross. Opened in nineteen thirty-seven, the park occupies a site that once held a nineteenth-century gas factory. Beneath the current grass and playgrounds, deep foundations were originally built to stabilize the ground where seven massive gasometers previously stood.
