The Lycée Molière, located at seventy-one rue du Ranelagh in the sixteenth arrondissement, is marked by its primary facade along the street. It opened on October eight, eighteen eighty-eight, as the third public secondary school for young women in Paris. Designed by the architect Émile Vaudremer, the institution began with just forty-eight students and functioned for decades as a space for intellectual education, contributing to the development of a professional female elite in the early twentieth century.
