Square du Cardinal Petit de Julleville

The Square du Cardinal Petit de Julleville is a quiet, leafy enclave in the seventeenth arrondissement of Paris. It is named for Pierre Petit de Julleville, a French Catholic prelate who served as the Archbishop of Rouen and was created a cardinal by Pope Pius the Twelfth in nineteen forty-six. Born in Dijon in eighteen seventy-six, he spent his early career in Paris, where he was ordained in nineteen oh three and later taught at the Grand Seminary of Issy.
