Church of Saint-Denys de la Chapelle

The Church of Saint-Denys de la Chapelle is marked by a classical facade added in seventeen fifty-seven, featuring a small porch framed by four Doric pilasters and topped by a triangular pediment. This building sits in the eighteenth arrondissement as a remnant of a much older village, as the site has held a sanctuary since approximately four hundred seventy-five, when Saint Genevieve is said to have built a chapel here to hold the relics of Saint Denis.
