Square Maurice Kriegel-Valrimont

The Square Maurice Kriegel-Valrimont is marked by a prominent Chinese cedar, a tree standing eighteen meters tall that has occupied the space since nineteen ten. Originally opened to the public in nineteen fourteen as the Square de Clignancourt, the site was constructed on land formerly used by the Compagnie Générale des Omnibus. It is surrounded by stone and brick buildings designed by architect Paul Morice.
