The Pavillon de Flore marks the southwestern corner of the Louvre Palace, distinguished by a steep slate mansard roof and the monumental relief sculpture of The Triumph of Flora on its riverside façade. Originally built between sixteen hundred and seven and sixteen hundred and ten to connect the Louvre to the Tuileries Palace, the structure was entirely redesigned by architect Hector-Martin Lefuel during the eighteen sixties.
