The Théâtre Saint-Georges is marked by a facade on the rue Saint-Georges featuring painted trompe-l'œil windows and a pediment that create a deliberate optical illusion. Inaugurated on February eighth, nineteen twenty-nine, the building replaced a private mansion that had previously housed a newspaper office. Its architect, Charles Siclis, designed the space with a modern, sober aesthetic, focusing on the clarity of form.
