Casino de Paris

The Casino de Paris, located at sixteen Rue de Clichy, is a renowned music hall distinguished by its blend of Belle Époque and Art Nouveau architecture. Despite its name, the building has never functioned as a gambling house. Its history on this site stretches back to seventeen thirty, when the Duc de Richelieu commissioned a theater here. Following the French Revolution, the grounds became known as the Jardin de Tivoli, a space famous for elaborate fireworks displays before transitioning into a venue for wrestling and various stage productions as the Palace Theatre in eighteen eighty.
