The Théâtre Tristan Bernard is a classic performance venue located at sixty-four rue du Rocher in the eighth arrondissement. It is distinguished by its intimate neo-Louis XVI interior, which was modeled after the style of the Salle Gaveau. Built in nineteen eleven by the Fondation Léopold Bellan, the structure was originally intended to host educational meetings and performances for an institution for young women.
