The Embassy of Canada in Paris occupies a late nineteenth-century Haussmannian building at one hundred thirty rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. You can identify the entrance by a deep, double-height porch where the walls feature a ribbed texture made of Tyndall stone, a distinctive limestone quarried in Manitoba. On either side of this entrance, manganese metal panels are etched with intricate vegetal patterns designed by the artist Micah Lexier.
