The Square Léon Blum in Puteaux occupies a space that has evolved significantly over centuries. Long before it took its current name, the area was a simple path winding through open fields. It crossed land once owned by a royal advisor named Monsieur Danger de Bagneux, who acquired the property through an exchange with the town for land he held on the nearby Île de Puteaux.
