The Square François Mitterrand in Vanves is a neighborhood green space marked by the stone sculpture titled L'Effort. This work was created by the sculptor Émile Guillaume in nineteen oh six and later reproduced by the sculptor Michel Serraz in nineteen eighty-one after the original was accidentally broken.
