The Jardin Botanique de Bordeaux on the Right Bank is defined by a series of low, box-like greenhouses made of translucent glass and wood that sit low against the landscape. This modern garden, which opened in two thousand three, was designed by landscape architect Catherine Mosbach and architect Françoise-Hélène Jourda as a scientific institution focused on environmental diversity.
