Strefi Hill

Strefi Hill rises above the Exarcheia district as a limestone outcropping covered in pine trees and crisscrossed by steep stone pathways. Once known as Agchesmos, the hill served as a working quarry from the eighteen forties until the nineteen twenties, providing stone for the city below.
